Parker Real Estate and the Importance of Working with Parker Realtors

By Bruce Durrell

Before you go ahead and purchase a home, it is always a good idea to talk to Parker realtors about the area. 20 miles Southeast of Denver is Parker Colorado which has attracted new residents for a number of years. Its small, family community is preferable for many people traveling to the area, but it still provides all of the entertainment and shopping you are searching for nearby. New home owners will also be fascinated by the fresh mountain air and beautiful scenery that the Rocky Mountains have to offer.

Parker realtors can tell you all about the cities fascinating history, which started out as a stage stop and railroad depot for trains from Denver in 1863. Parker is no longer just a small train depot as it houses more than 45,000 people. The town replaced the Pine Grove Way Station with Parker Station which still continues operations. Parker still offers its trademark 5 globe street lights that you can view while walking downtown.

You need to take into consideration the type of home you want as well as your budget when searching for your new home in Parker. Parker realtors will know exactly where to look to find the house that is best for you. Whether you are looking for a home that's small and conventional or a larger ranch style house Parker has various communities to meet your needs. Homes in Parker average around $300,000 and condos average out to be about $150,000. Compared to living in Denver you may find this to fit your budget better.

You should also ask Parker realtors about the amenities each community has to offer. The city is home to The University Center at Chaparral and Arapahoe Community College, but the University of Phoenix - Colorado Campus and Community College of Aurora are only 15 miles away as well. The Parker recreational department is often praised for its veracious parks, paved trails, and the well known H2O'Brien water park. Parker also offers public activities that your family can enroll in. Children may find the in-line skating rink and indoor turf field a great place to go. There is also a area hospital that is located just outside of the city.

There are multiple local festivities in which residents are encouraged to take part in. After moving into a new home residents will take some time to visit the county festival as well as the Parker Mainstreet Omnium. The city also puts on a special Christmas Carriage Parade and multiple concerts in the park. If any events interest you then you should ask Parker realtors for information on those events.

Parker is a town that's dedicated to a small town feel with a quiet family lifestyle. If you have children then you may want to ask Parker realtors about the 15 schools that the city offers. You can expect to be warmly welcomed into the Parker community as well as expect to meet lots of new people due to the increased desire to live in this community. - 23229

What Happens When Stock Moves From OTC to NASDAQ

By Sam Nielson

Over the years, I've been asked a lot of questions. More than I can count. One question that keeps coming up is from traders who want to know what will happen to their OTCBB stock if it uplists to a major exchange like the Nasdaq.

Unless some special arrangement has been made, and you will know this from your brokerage firm, your stock will automatically transition to the Nasdaq.

Traders call this a jumper. Your shares will gain in value and they will automatically start trading on the NASDAQ.

If any change in the ticker symbol takes place, your brokerage firm (i.e. ETrade, Scottrade, etc.) will contact you via your trading console and/or by regular mail.

But let's be straight here. You are an idiot if you are buying OTCBB stocks hoping they will uplist to a major exchange.

Slick con artists and their publishing companies will try and sell you on some alert service that supposedly has a guaranteed track record at picking jumpers but they are lying. Every last one of them.

In the thousands of traders I've known over the years, not one of them made money at picking jumpers.

Time for a splash of cold water on your face to bring you out of Fantasy Land. There is not a big cost different between a NASDAQ listing and an OTC listing. If this hot, insider tip company was making so much money selling such a hot product then why didn't they just list on the NASDAQ in the first place? Why even list on the OTCBB? The reason is not the cost. The reason is the reporting requirements. Companies that list on the OTCBB don't want to provide you with timely, behind the scenes financials that were audited by an independent party. That should scare you completely away from OTCBB listed stocks.

That's the anti-moron truth. The main reason for a company to list on the OTC and not the NASDAQ in the first place is that they do not want to meet the stricter reporting requirements of a major exchange. They do not want investors looking at their financial statements. They do not want investors to know what is really going on.

The pink sheets is the only worse exchange on the planet. The OTCBB is one giant wanna be system set to favor scammers and bleed investors dry. More tomb stones exist in the Graveyard of Traders from the OTCBB market than any other market. Gambling in the OTCBB market is stupetarded. I should know, I had my life savings completely destroyed doing it by a company that was liquidated, and the CEO who is now in jail. This happens on major exchanges to but not nearly as much as the OTCBB.

Look, we are at a market bottom. There is no reason to gamble in the OTCBB market when you can buy stocks that trade on major exchanges for near OTCBB prices! Plus you have the additional protection that goes with stocks that are listed on major exchanges. - 23229

Forex Analysis: Which Method Is Better?

By Brad Morgan

Fundamental and technical analysis are the two main accessories used in the foreign exchange market.

1. The method of analysis that concerns itself with assessing the nature and the results of socio-economic and political undercurrents on the FX market is called FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS.

2. When the analysis is concentrated specifically on the use of charts and graphs to study price movements and to point out trends, this is called TECHNICAL ANALYSIS.

So which is the more suitable method? If you check out forums and websites you will see many traders decidedly supporting one or the other. Those who like to lean on charts will tell you that the only way to make money with currency trading is to find out trends and jump onto them as quick as possible.

However, those who approve fundamental analysis will maintain that the only drivers of the market prices are socio-political and economic aspects, a fact that has been proven time and again in most of the movements. They break down that any association between the charts and real time movements are only by chance.

This though, is not a foregone conviction. While the vast influence on the forex market, of variations in the economic and politcal scenes, cannot be denied, patterns or trends could possibly be gathered from price movements expressly in the wake of announcements or during periods with no big announcements.

If on the other hand you rely completely on your charts, you are likely to be caught out when a preeminent financial event such as an interest rate change is unanticipatedly announced. You were not giving consideration to the financial news and left a trade open at the wrong moment. That may result in calamity.

The opinion therefore is that short term trading can benefit from characterizing trends via technical analysis while the large price movements are typically created by socio-economic or political elements. Keeping both eyes open is the more frugal method as it equips one to use mathematics to predict short term movements while monitoring current news and happenings that would effect movements on a longer term and greater eminence. After all money in the currence market is made when one executes trades based on predicted movement and that prediction comes to pass.

FX market movements are a bit like elastic that can stretch in one way or another and then fall back, although not always to its opening position. The fundamentals are the factors that cause it to stretch. Technical analysis portends how far it will swing in each direction before reversing.

So when you want to profit from foreign exchange trading it is better not to let your concentration to become fixed on either one. You ought to learn to balance the use of both forms of foreign exchange market analysis to make steady profits. - 23229

News Straddling (Part V)

By Ahmad Hassam

The risk of slippage is usually very high when trading the news. Currency prices tend to move very fast during such highly volatile market conditions. Slippage occurs when the price you intend to enter or exit the market is different from your actual transacted price.

Placing stop loss or market entry orders under fast moving market conditions do not guarantee anything. These orders do get filled but mostly at different prices than you had intended. Slippage is the biggest problem when the market moves fast. There is no way you can avoid it. Some of it is genuine. During times when too many orders are placed by the traders, most forex brokers cannot offset these orders in the interbank market due to the small amounts involved. They have to take the opposite positions themselves. This gives them the chance to take the excuse of slippage.

Sometimes, these entry orders may even get filled past your stop loss or profit target. This means that you would be left with immediate net loss. Many market makers will wait till after the big move is over. Then they will fill your entry order.

Before filling your entry order with wide slippage, many brokers will fill your stop loss or take profit order. It is a trick that many forex brokers use in order to make profit by filling your position with a negative spread.

Lets take an example. Suppose you have placed your long entry stop for EUR/USD at 1.2564. Your profit limit is 1.2594. The forex broker may first fill your take profit at 1.2594 and then fill your long entry stop at 1.2604 with a 40 pips slippage.

You were confident that you would make a winning trade. If the orders had been filled at the prices you wanted, your trade would have resulted in a profit. But now you have a net realized loss. If the trade goes against you, the forex broker may fill your stop loss order first and then fill your entry order with slippage after that so as to widen their profits. With slippage you cannot predict anything what the broker will do with you.

Suppose, you had set your long entry stop at 1.2564 and your stop loss at 1.2544. The broker could first fill your stop loss at 1.2544 then fill your long entry stop at 1.2594 with a slippage of 30 pips. So instead of planned 20 pips loss, you now have a net loss of 50 pips due to slippage.

You should know as an individual trader that your orders will be kept pending till you get stopped out or your profit limit is reached during the release of news when the market moves fast. The more you stand to lose and the more the forex broker stands to make a profit, the larger the slippage you experience. Some forex brokers add slippage to any of your orders to increase their profits during times of fast moving markets when the volatility is high.

Many traders readily accept the risk of slippage. They consider slippage as one of the realities of trading the news. However, they should know that slippage can eat up a huge chunk of profits. In the end slippage can affect their overall profit/loss. You can overcome the problem of slippage through the use of stop-limit entry order. You can read more on it in the next article! - 23229
